thanks for the clarification. i don't know how i got underworld and van helsing mixed up. u'd think i'd learn by now! lol but they are cool. and if the lycans are in van helsing what are the creatures in the movie underworld?
Author's Response: They are lycan's too. Lycan is just a fancy name for a werewolf, nothing more. Comes from the term lycantropia, a condition where person believes that he/she is able to turn to a werewolf.

Author's Response: Not from the underworld. Not something I made up. From Van Helsing. The wolf-man. Had to make it a bit more human, but outer appearance is the same.
