I'm not into the Comicverse at all. And even tho I have no idea what the background is for the letter that Rogue is writing, it's such a powerful piece of imagery. The stiff parchment, chaotic storm, jubilant scrawl; such beautiful ways to describe everyday things - paper, rainstorm, handwriting.
And that closing line is just so Logan, so *him*. He is the definition of an old soul.
Lovely, ata, simply lovely.

Great last line, “I’m an old soul, darlin’. And we old souls-we figure shit out.”
Fantastic imagery throughout, really felt Marie's struggle with her confusion.
