“Did you cry over her death?” Logan noted the shake in Rogue’s voice, and smelled the salty tang of the tears brimming behind her lashes.
“No.”
“Can I?”
“Yeah.”
That has got to be the most poignant words of dialogue that I've ever read! This story is sad, and sweet and beautiful. Great job!

That last bit of dialogue has to be some of the most honest, unadulterated emotion I have ever read, and by that I mean it's all Logan and Marie...you kept yourself out of this completely. Outstanding! I really liked this a lot. --Wendie

Author's Response: Thank you - I think this is probably my favorite story so far to have written. It almost wrote itself. Beer ala Mode might come close, but this one was just so intense, so clean and simple, and that's not my style at all: I like adventure and sex and big laughs. lol!
