Confusion!!

Why would Marie hope that Jean wasn't coming from being with Scott?? If she wasn't coming from Scott that would mean she was coming from being with someone else - and we all know who that someone else Jean wishes it could be! So why would Marie hope that Jean was coming from being with Logan???

Like I said - MASS CONFUSION!!
