Why am I not surprised in finding out that leaving James at the Mansion may not have been the best idea! So much for Jean's idea of seeing if she's ready for motherhood! After the trauma of the last chapter, we needed a little comic relief! This is a great story and I can't wait to see what happens next!

P. S. I'm confused about what Sarah said about her boyfriend. She said he left a suicide note but that Logan killed him. Why would he commit suicide?

Author's Response: In Jean's defense, little James is a barely social, feral toddler, which I imagined would be a handful for pretty much anyone... who didn't have insider knowledge on how ferals minds work. Adding caffeine and no sleep to that mix, honestly, that was just mean of me... ;) Re the boyfriend, I was angling for the 'if I can't have you, no one can' murder-suicide trope. But Logan caught him as he was sneaking into Sarah's house, and took him out before he could complete phase one of his dastardly plan. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, there are plenty more twists and turns to go. Enjoy :)
