I absolutely adore and admire Fray and this story. It makes all 3 feel so real: completely connected to the “real world,” rather than a fantasy HEA. The ending you created with Marie absorbing Logan, and the difficulties and joys in raising Laura also feel authentic. Thank you for sharing this story!

This was such a beautiful, finely woven story. It's basically a quilt -- you know, one of those amazing quilts that you know took forever to make because it's embroidered so well and each square and color placement was well thought out in advance to make a pattern your eyes can't look away from. Yes, and like a quilt, you can wrap it around you and just kind of luxuriate in its warmth. That is what all your fic is for me, but this was exceptional.

Author's Response: Oh my goodness. What a beautiful review. Thank you, so much, friend. I really appreciate the love and the support!

Hahaha! I just have to share this... finished Fray last night and read this. Halfway through the chapter I read “IEP” in the middle of a Rogan story. I practically dropped the tablet bc I felt like you had just whispered my name in my fucking ear. Signed, 8th gr teacher who goes to lots and lots of IEP meetings and uses Rogan as an escape from RL. Hahahahaha

Author's Response: Haha! I can understand that. My husband teaches fourth grade and keeps me up to pace with the education jargon. <3 Thank you for sharing! That's awesome!

I love how you write Laura. Her thoughts on her mother were lovely. All of that goodness mixed with that poignant worry about Logan from both Laura and Marie (through Laura's eyes) was beautiful to read.

Author's Response: Hey there! Thank you so much, friend. This was my first real crack at her, and I was super nervous about getting her right. I'm glad you liked her! And yeah, I really didn't want her to forget about her mother either. <3 Thank you so much for the feedback and for taking the time to read!
