This is a powerful glimpse into Logan's constant inner pain and frustration, and doesn't really need to be spun out into a longer story. Marie is so brave here, and takes away an intimate look into Logan's true nature along with that little bit of his healing factor. I've enjoyed this story for a long time. My bad for not leaving a review before now.
Fantastic! More please! Definitely needs a follow up. did they make up? did he leave? Did she walk away?
More please!!!!
My first reaction was "NOOOO!!! You can't leave it there!!" Then I re read it, and I think I understand why you left it the way you did...even if I'm wrong in my assumption, FANTASTIC writing!! Very well done!
I'm so glad you challenged yourself with this--and succeeded beautifully. This story is the perfect example of what I cannot do. I could never let it end that way. I'd have to have Logan come over and wrap his arms around her and comfort her, maybe even tell her everything is OK...you know, the SWEET stuff. Thanks for resisting the urge. --Wendie
wow, not my usual sort of story, but i have to say I really liked it.
I mean we all know Logan loves Marie and we all have our own interpretation of that love, so we know he would never seriously hurt her. But we also know that Logan does have that rage and infinite sadness within him.
I am glad that you wrote this. Great job!
