Author's Response: Glad it worked. I was kind of rushing things, to be honest. The whole process of getting them home and recovered probably ended up a bit disjointed, but these 6 chapters were actually 11 chapters in the first draft. It just felt so bogged down. Stupid plot, interfering with the important stuff (read: romance and smut)!
