This was a really good touch too:

“You’ve got the most beautiful skin, baby. Like porcelain. I love it.”

Marie looked away, her arms still folded over her stomach. “Thanks. Thanks for sayin’ that.“ Her voice grew a little thick. “That’s really nice.”

I had pretty much forgotten about Marie's mutation. I am dying to see what happens when they both "come clean" about their mutations.

Author's Response: Well, circumstances are going to lead them to discover each other's mutations in a pretty unusual way. And I'm glad you liked Logan's compliment. It just seemed like a perfect moment to me too, with him not realizing just how much that would mean to her :)

Awwww...I literally went "squee!" when I saw you had updated this. This story has hooked me in like crazy...I think your little chapters have some crack-like addictive properties. I really liked Marie taking control -- and Logan's restraint was very hot. It was all the more sad to see her go back to her whipped-puppy persona. I hope Logan can help her get past that. I really want to know what the morning brings, and how she reacts to his "secrets." So...get writing! Pretty please?

Author's Response: LOL crackfic huh? I like it! Yes, there is a reason for that abrupt shift back to the whipped-puppy persona. Logan is definitely going to work on helping her get past that. And he's not the only one with "secrets" :)
