I'm afraid Jean was hate at first sight in the first movie. I simply love to detest her.

And I think even in canon she would peek into Rogue, right?

Author's Response: I honestly cannot remember. But Jean is totally trying to do her job, and protect everyone, and get a grip on someone she's pretty sure she's going to have to help in the long run. I love love/hate relationships. They're all kinds of dirty fun, lol.

Hey, I was sorry to see that WRFA ate your story =/. Anyway, just read the whole thing this morning (ah, the beauty of short chapters!). I'm definitely enjoying this, especially your characterization of crazy!Marie. The instant chemistry with Logan is great and I'm curious to see what will come of it now that the rest of the X-Men are thrown into the mix.

Author's Response: Thanks! I haven't had a story eaten by the WRFA before, I thought it was above that. *give the WRFA a disappointed look* I wanted o do the lab fic in drabbles for the first time because I was so afraid of mucking it all up with long detailed chapters. But I've given myself a long long list of prompts so it'll be fun. crazy!Marie is delightful, I'm thrilled writing her and figuring out her patterns and the way her psyche works. I think I started this... Wow, back in December. Remember how I said I didn't have any room to talk? The chemistry is really fun to write, I love this Logan. He's definitely not one to give two sifts about what anyone else thinks. And Marie is taking what she can get as soon as she gets her hands on it. The X-men, lol, they'll do what hey do best. Put their noses into everything. lol

I did read your responses after I posted my review. lol and actually, Terri dealt really well with the affects of Marie's amnesia on others. It was one of the reasons I love the series so much. The way she shows how much it hurt Logan and everyone else was really heartbreaking.

Honestly though with the Comis/movie/fanfic thing. I haven't read the comics. I watched the movies and was hooked on Logan and Rogue. I read the fanfic a lot though and I have learned a lot about the comics through the fanfics.

Author's Response: *grin* No problem, lol. I might have read them, and just blocked them out. That or it was freaking years ago and I just don't remember. lol But the heartbreaking part is what gets me. I'm really good at writing Angst, that acute life is terrible sadness tinged with hope that it will get better while being pretty sure that it won't, but I've got no backbone when it comes to reading it. And sometimes terri's fics drive me nuts with the whole lack of hope. And (almost) every time I read her Logan, I head Rocky, ala Sly Stallone, in my head. LOL

I watched the cartoon and read the comics when I was a kid, like.. 11 and 12, so when I was introduced to all of the X-Men it was ages before the movie. Back when Rogue was still wearing bikini's and short gloves and Ororo had an accent. I never picture Halle Berry in my head when I read her. I had never given Logan and Rogue much thought until I saw X1 then I was smacked in the face with it, mostly because the characters are so so so different from their comic counterparts. Logan is a softie compared to his comic self; there he constantly fights to keep his animal side in check, literally reigning himself in constantly to live among his friends, lovers, family. Rogue in the comics is strong, vulnerable, soft, angry and above all sacrificing. At one point she given the choice of getting her powers removed with a machine. (She's got Carol Danvers impenetrable skin, super human strength, and flight) along with her skin. Instead of getting it removed, she destroys the machine so it can't be used on those who are willing. She expects people to be careful of her, instead of the opposite, and uses her powers to save her teammates and other innocents despite the danger to herself. The difference between them is so different that as soon as I met them, I was totally on board. I could go on forever, but, if you want to email me, send me a message through the site. Soon well need out own page, lol.
