I like the tit for tat between Logan and Rogue. I think the kids are adorable. I am reading on!

Author's Response: Thanks WolvieDoesItBest. Both Logan and Rogue need strong parnters to be able to deal with all their background. That's why I think Logan and Rogue in this story are perfect for each other. Sally and Nate are just to precious. I think that Logan and Rogue are the perfect people to help them heal. I think they are going to help Rogue and Logan heal too.

Well so far Logan hasn't been out of character. This chapter was interesting. I like that Rogue is helping Nate and Sally. I love stories like this. I can't wait to read the next chapter! Hope you update soon.

Author's Response: Hey White Dove. I'm glad that you found the chapter interesting, and I hope I do disappoint to keep you interested down the road. I fell in love with Nate and Sally as I wrote them. They are just to sweet, Rogue couldn't help but promise to take care of them. Thanks again for reviewing! :)

I am not sure why you would say Logan is OCC in this story. There are a number out there that Logan is articulate and stays at the Mansion on the regular basis. Are you think the kids would be considered Mary Sues? My thought about Mary Sues are that they are the author inserting themselves into the story. I don't see evidence of that here. You have created two OC with Nate and Sally, just because they are originals doesn't make them Mary Sues. What they do in the story and how you write them is why could make them a Mary Sue.

Author's Response: Hey alesia. I guess I'm more thinking of the Logan further into the story, so it was a more of a warning to be prepared for an OOC Logan. I hope I don't take him to far out of character though, I mean that's the whole reason we like him, right? ;) I was thinking more of Rogue when said my character was a Mary-Sue. Because she does fit the picture of a lot of Mary-Sue. Well skilled, young, attitude, sad background, and so on. I don't really see Nate or Sally as Mary-Sues. Like I said until today I didn't even know what a Mary-Sue character was. Thanks again for taking the time to read and review. I really do appreciate it.

In my view, Mary-Sue is usually an original, unrealistic character. Like a perfect female who knows elvish and swordmanship accidentally ending up in the Middle Earth in the arms of a beautiful unattached elf. I can't recall ever thinking that a canon character is a Mary-Sue, no matter how out of character.

I see nothing of that in your characters so far.... Logan feels a bit understated, but not one author's characterization is the same and you are just two chapters in so I see no reason to run away screaming.
Pity the children weren't feral, that would have been interesting.

Author's Response: Thanks Lily5 for taking the time to review. I'm glad to know so far that my characters aren't what you would consider Mary-Sues. I can appreicate your view about Logan. To be honest, I have a hard time writing his character, so I tend to go in a out of character for him. You'll probably understand more once I've posted more chapters. Neat idea about the kids, that would have been interesting. However I kind of like that they're not too. Thanks again.
