Love that you brought in the finger swirl on the hand, and his reaction...Did you hear the sigh that escaped me?

This story was like climbing a staircase - each step changes your perspective despite the difference of only a few inches. So wonderfully done. I don't think I would have gotten the same experience if you put it all into one chapter.

First of all, you rock for posting all twelve chapters of a completed story in one day!!! Second, this was really great! As others have already mentioned, it was very sweet and really captured their feelings and the insecurities that they have. Nice little twist on Marie's mutation too. The last chapter was especially great - Logan pursuing her but also being very nervous and vulnerable; Marie being overwhelmed but overcoming her insecurities when she realizes that he wants her, warts and all. Quite an enjoyable ride, indeed!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! They're pretty short chapters, heh. Seems cruel to drag it out 500 words at a time :P. Yeah, sometimes syrupy, ridiculously sweet stories just take over my brain. I have to write them away. And then post them for others to get sugar-high on. Why not share the fun, right?

More than enjoyable. It just pegged them so perfectly. Honestly, I mean that. Marie's insecurities around Logan and Logan's wrestling with who he is. That's what makes them such an intriguing couple. Great, great job.
