Okay, I'm so sorry I didn't review the last chapter, but my brain immediately said: CLICK NEXT!!!!! READ THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!! And I only belatedly realized I hadn't reviewed. The suspense is killing me and I'm all tense. Good thing I've been so busy that I haven't been able to read before now. Now I can go at it all in one go. :)

So excited to finally have time to catch up on this story tonight (okay, okay, so I don't have time, but screw you, data analysis, fic is more important). THREE new chapters!! Yippee =D.
I like Logan's shower thoughts. Well, and just him in the shower in general. But the thoughts are good, too. Very Logany.
Ooh Leech! Nice twist. I totally didn't see that one coming, and the way this chapter unfolded--bam, bam, bam--the pacing was perfect, and I don't know how you managed it without any exposition. Great writing. I can't wait to see what happens next. Which is okay. 'Cause I don't have to. *runs off to the next chapter*
Author's Response: Data analysis can definitely wait! Yes, shower + Logan is never a bad idea, is it? And I love the "Logany" adjective. Much better than "Loganesque." I'm glad you liked the Leech twist too, at times it feels like I'm throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this fic, but I do have a master plan. Thanks again for taking the time to review each chapter!

"...and if you stick with me..." No problem there--I'm sticking like glue to this story! ;)
I did not find this chapter slow at all. I really love how you opened this chapter with Logan's POV and how this confirmed all the subtle clues to his frayed emotions and control in the previous chapter.
Again, Growly!Protective!Vulnerable!Logan rocks:
"It’s Rogue,” he said. “I’m afraid...”
"Logan didn’t even remember leaving the room, the next thing he knew he already running, his heart hammering in his ears, his stomach clenched with fear as he bolted down the mansion hallways. Her scent guided him, clear as sunlight, as he slammed the door to her room open."
"He didn’t know how long he sat there, cradling her, willing her to open her eyes, to speak his name again, before he heard the whir of Xavier’s chair. His head snapped up, his voice a razor-sharp snarl. “Why? You said she had control -- that she got the voices put away. What the fuck happened?”"
"Logan felt anger and confusion welling up, combining with his fear to erode his control. He barely recognized his own voice as he ground out the words between gritted teeth. “You’re saying she did this on purpose? Why would she do that?”"
And I think you broke the angst dial with this one:
"Logan’s heart dropped. For him? What the fuck did that mean? He struggled to calm himself, sucking in a deep breath. “She can’t have thought that I would have wanted…this.” His voice was almost pleading now. “Can’t you go in and help her, like you did before?"
Good God, woman! You're killing me here (in a good way, of course)!
And here is another swoon-worthy line:
"Just come back to me, baby."
I'm looking forward to Marie answering Logan's questions when she wakes up!!! Which I hope will be very soon. Right?!
Author's Response: Aw, so glad you are liking the story. I'm glad you like this chapter, I think I'm always insecure about chapters with lots of exposition, but I really wanted to get the cure out there. Thanks again for being such a great reviewer!

Again with the frustration and helplessness...That goes for Logan as he waits while Marie takes on Shaw alone on a battlefield he cannot even see, let alone enter...And for me as I wait for the next chapter of this incredible story! Doc, you ROCK! --Wendie

i'm really enjoying this: rogue facing her demons (literally) and kicking some ass. also really looking forward to logan's "i don't know whether to kiss you or deck you," reaction when she wakes up... have at it woman! hobbits away, hey!
