Woohoo. I've been gone a while, but it was awesome to come back and find three new chapters!
Love the 'escape' scene, where Rogue climbs down and Logan jumps. And: "You know I'm feral, right?" "The constant growling tipped me off a bit." LOL.
And again with the cliffhanger. Yipes! Glad I don't have to wait for an update *runs off to read the next chapter*.
Author's Response: I will deal with your absences happily if they result in more delicious chapters of "Feral"! I'm sorry, when I'm writing a story I can be bad about reviewing because whenever I have the laptop I want to write on my own story, and just read others' stories on my phone on the train. And I can type on my phone, but then my reviews are all short and lame and don't include my favorite lines, etc. So anyway, a long-winded way of saying don't worry, I'm still loving the story and will go back and review all the chapters I haven't reviewed yet. ;-) And thanks for your review here -- so glad you liked this one!

I love that you had Rogue put all the pieces together. Even recovering from Shaw's abuse, she's tough. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! Partly that was just to save Shaw from "monologue-ing" later, but I also liked that they kind of got a jump on him by putting the information together themselves. I was a little surprised myself that I hadn't gotten around to letting her know about Logan's healing, it's such a key part of his character, but I guess they had other things on their minds. ;-)

Ah, you are sneaky! Making it seem like Marie and Logan were going to have a huge fight to start this chapter. I'm glad it didn't go that way. I like how you have both of them thinking things through and talking it out. No hysterics or name calling, just two people who care about each other working things out. I love how you have developed their relationship and how strong their bond is.
I enjoyed the banter between them too.
“So you’d be sad if Shaw turned me to dust?”
“Well, don’t get a swelled head over it.”
“You know I’m feral, right?”
“The constant growling tipped me off a bit.”
“Smartass."

I figured they would have their work cut out for them regarding their escape but I was unprepared for Azazel teleporting Logan away and leaving Marie to fend for herself. Nicely done! Well, Marie get the hell out of dodge ASAP, girl! And please tell me that Logan is finally going to put a hurtin' on Azazel too!
Author's Response: :-D Yeah, that was kind of mean of me. But you have to admit, that would be an inopportune thought to catch at just that moment. ;-) I'm glad you liked the way they talk things out. One of the sweetest things my husband ever said to me was when we were first dating, he complimented me on the fact that if I were angry or upset I would actually just talk to him about it instead of sulking or yelling or whatever. I think it makes the characters a lot more likeable when they are able to try hard to work things out. I'm glad you liked the banter too. At times it seemed a little incongruent to have them joking around, but I really want Logan to fall in love with *Marie*, not just a generic damsel in distress. So I wanted to show some of her personality rather than her just being a sad sack all the time, which she is totally justified in being because of the horrible, horrible, circumstances she is in.

I really like how you had them talk it out, these two are so in tune with each other but not solely in a physical way but with the flow of their emotions as well. Wonderful
Author's Response: Yeah, they are in a spot, huh? Thanks for the compliment about them talking it out. I try to avoid simple misunderstandings and overreactions when it's plausible. I think it's easier for characters to be likable when they are really trying hard to reach an understanding rather than flying off the handle. There will still be misunderstandings, of course, though! Thanks so much for your review.
