Mysterious and sexy. Two things that are guaranteed in your stories!

What hold does Shaw have over Marie? What was she hoping to find? Why didn't Logan throw her onto the desk and tear her clothes off and...

Whoops. Sorry. In time, in time, I know...;)

What a build up. You are so, so good doc. With a facial quirk here, a held breath there, you convey what your characters are feeling so vividly. You spoil us with your quick updates, true, but you spoil us more with your stories. I don't know how you do it, your plot blunnies must be on steroids, lol!

Author's Response: So glad that you're finding it mysterious and sexy...what a compliment! Yes, I promise, there will be clothes-tearing in the future, I'm sure. ;-) As for the plot bunnies, they swear those are just vitamins they're injecting, but now I wonder... ;-)

The interaction between Rogue and Shaw was just haunting. Perfectly tense and creepy. Such a realistic dynamic there, and I love how this mystery is just unfolding like a flower--no exposition, no fantastical leaps, just layers being slowly peeled away. Can't wait to see what it eventually reveals.

The idea of Logan's lockpicking prowess was totally cool, and definitely believable. One of those 'Huh, wish I'd thoughta that' ideas :P.

That moment in Shaw's office, when he bursts in on Rogue also snooping around--Ha! I could just picture it, made me laugh out loud.

Thanks for the speedy update. Don't try to rush genius or anything, but I do look forward eagerly to the next update. Especially curious about Azazel's role in all of this *eyebrow raise*

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the interaction between Rogue and Shaw. I was worried that it was getting a little soap-opera-esque...he's just so *evil*. I'm glad you found it falling on the more realistic emotionally-abusive-dirtbag side, which is what I was going for. I'm especially glad to hear you like the pace of things...I was so tempted to just spill the whole plot in the first chapter it's good to know I'm letting details out in a way that seems natural. And yes, there will definitely be more Azazel coming up!

Interesting, I wonder what Marie was looking for. And just how strong is Sebastian's hold on her? And what does he want with Logan?

Secret meetings between Logan and Marie? Can't wait!

Author's Response: Good questions! Hopefully you'll find out the answers soon. And the secret meetings are next, so you won't have to wait long at all for those. ;-)

Ohhh... So good to see this. I love how you can see the fear that Rogue was feeling when Shaw was in her space. And I hate him. I don't even know what he's really done yet and I still hate him. I hope Logan eats him for breakfast.

Author's Response: Yeah, Sebastian Shaw is pretty creepy, isn't he? Hopefully he will get his just desserts. ;-) Thanks for reviewing!

I'm not looking foward to finding out what these 'treatments' are. Does not sound promising. :(

Author's Response: Yeah, you know Sebastian is up to no good, don't you? I have to say, I saw "Crazy Stupid Love" last night not knowing that Kevin Bacon was in it. I shivered every time he showed up on screen! He lives in my city part time, if I ever run into him in person I think I'm going to run screaming the other way. ;-)

Ah, now they are partners in crime, or soon will be unless I miss my guess. Lovely, just lovely. --Wendie

Author's Response: That's the hope, although I will admit I'm a little stymied as to how to proceed, since neither of them has good reason to be forthcoming with the other. I guess we'll see! :-) So glad you liked it. Thanks so much for reviewing!
