Speck. Tack. You. Lar. I savoured each and every word. Thank you for giving this - just, really - WOW.

Author's Response: Thank you!! *bounces* You have no idea how wonderful that is to hear. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed :-D

Any chance of an update soon? Anxiously waiting... :-D

Author's Response: There is, yes! My apologies for the ghastly delay in posts, RL decided to beat on me this past month. I'm working on the final chapter now, and am REALLY hoping to have it up this week. *fingers crossed*

This is going to be intense it seems! I can't wait to read more and see what happened to Marie and what Logan has gone through to get her back...keep up the great work!

Author's Response: "This is going to be intense it seems!" I hope so! At least, that's what I'm aiming for :-) Thank you for taking the time to read and review, it means a lot.

Oh my goodness, that may be the most heartbreakingly beautiful thing I have ever read, please say you aren't going to leave it there.

Author's Response: Oh, wow, thank you so much! I promise that I am not leaving it there. Definitely a few more parts to this one coming up!

I am loving what you are doing. The connection that they have for each other is perfect. I love both characters and how you portray Marie's state of being (state of MIND would be inapropriate)

Logan needs her. It is so good. Please keep going. I kinda hope this will be a long one. Filled with EVERYTHING .... and maybe some smut if you feel like blessing us.

Great job and keep going

Author's Response: Thank you!! I'm thrilled to hear that their connection came through, despite them not even being in the same room during the chapter. That is awesome to hear. I don't have this plotted out to be terribly long, but I do think it will be meaty, so hopefully that will act as a trade off :-D

Love the paragraph you picked to summarize - what a taster to tease. I’m a great fic reader, not so great with chapter reading after years of not doing it I have been persuaded to give it a go lately, as long as the updates are regular I’m ok! This summery was so good I went past intrigued, it got to me and here I am again not waiting for the fic to be complete before I start!

3 strong lines that I loved right at the beginning - ‘peeling at the layers that bind her, wrap her, hide her’ ‘phantom sensation of touch’ ‘this hazy, gritty, cracked reflection is all that remains.’. Her pain visible through each paragraph. A different kind of pain for Logan but clear again through your words.

Great start, please tell me you don’t plan on leaving huge expanses of time between each update! x

Author's Response: THANK YOU! I'm glad that I was able to pull you in with that teaser, and that you found more lines in the fic that kept you intrigued. Here's hoping that I can keep that up! (And thank you for pointing out which lines you really liked, that helps a ton!)rnrnI don't plan to leave huge expanses of time between updates (the next couple of chapters are mostly written, just trying to polish; and I have the whole thing plotted out), but sometimes RL can be a bear (for instance, I was without a computer for almost all of the last two days - so not much got done during that time!) so there may be small gaps as a result.

Oooh, I'm loving it. I'm a sucker for psychodrama, and this looks like its going to be very, very good in that department. The tone of the piece is just perfect for that - the hesitation and the repetition suggests the fractured mind struggling to make sense of the world. I must confess I actually stopped after reading Rogue's bit; I was surprised to see more. (Though Logan is always a GOOD surprise). His lurking and pacing in his helplessness was done nicely - very evocative and faithful to his character. Will stop now in case my review is longer than your story ... can't wait for the rest.

Author's Response: "The tone of the piece is just perfect for that - the hesitation and the repetition suggests the fractured mind struggling to make sense of the world. "rnrnTHANK YOU for this! When I first wrote it, I loved how it came across, but then when I was posting I started to doubt that it would work well for others, so it is nice to hear that I wasn't too far off the mark. rnrnAnd glad to hear that Logan was a happy surprise :-) I debated included that in this section or not but decided that ultimately, it was needed to have the opening make any kind of sense! rnrnThank you so much for taking the time to read and comment!
