Very interesting. Having joined the ranks of the X-Men faithful with the movies, I am woefully unfamiliar with the comics and thus a lot of the history of the characters is still a mystery to me. This was a brief but detailed look into two parts of him I did not previously know (well, I did get a great history lesson once from Wolverette about Mariko and her place in his past), the first being the gaijin and the second being the international traveler. Cool cover story for the metal bones, btw. Any special reason why somebody didn't just fly him over in the X-jet and save all those public transportation headaches? Or did you already explain that and I missed it? On to Chapter 3... --Wendie

Author's Response: It's a personal thing for Logan, something to do with his *personal* past and something he doesn't want anyone else to know about. Hence the travel papers Xavier got for him, I got the idea from an actual man who got stamped on my a herd of cattle. He has so many pins in him he can't go through the normal detectors so he carries a letter and a small x-ray of his pins for travel purposes.rnGlad you're enjoying this, there will be more.
