:-D: What Marie and Logan shared wasn’t so much a mutual affection as mutual brain-damage

Oh, BTW, I loved that Logan finally decked Gambit! He should have pounded him a few more times (uh, sorry, I guess I'm a little violent today). But then again, Logan shouldn't waste any more time on Gambit when he should be working on getting his girl back! Go Logan!

This, as usual, was great. I liked how Yukio is not a stereotypical bitchy ex. She's very cool and realistic about Logan and Marie. It was great that she saw right through Gambit too and didn't try to get between Logan and Marie. Now if Logan and Marie can just communicate and actually listen to each other then we'll be in business. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh, jeez, you do love to make Wolvie step in it, don't you? And hip deep this time, too. Awesome! Love the twist with Yukio being SO over Logan and having Remy's little subterfuge backfire on him...And once you've gone there, I guess it ain't that far to having Marie hear him all wrong, because as you so aptly pointed out --
"Verbal dexterity and he were hardly bestest buds." While I generally get very frustrated by such misunderstandings -- why the hell can't people just say what they mean? -- I have to admit that the one-step-forward-two-steps-back growth pattern in their relationship usually makes for a sweet, sweet interlude when they finally get in synch. I am sure this time will be no different, which means I am looking forward to synchronicity with great anticipation. --Wendie

"Better a tease than a prude", eh? Dammit. Fine, fine. You win. What can I say? Awesome stories make me stupid.

"What Marie and Logan shared wasn’t so much a mutual affection as mutual brain-damage."

I have thought this same thing for years because I just don't understand how they can both be so block-headed.

"Verbal dexterity and he were hardly bestest buds." Understatement of the year right here.

Marie makes me so mad in this chapter. I just want to grab her and shake her until all the crazy falls out of her ears. Hello! This is the Wolverine we're talking about. Not Aladdin who is so confident in his feelings that he sings about them to his girl and recognizes on sight that she's the one for him (been on a disney kick lately, don't judge).

At the same time, I applaud your ability to write crazy girl drama so realistically. I am pretty sure I have tried to defuse situations like this between some of my friends. Well done. (even though Marie is acting like a crazy-ho)

It's just as well that they were interrupted. Rogue is clearly on her menstrual cycle. No woman that is that close to a Logan induced orgasm should ever resort to being that publicly bitchy about something so trivial. Especially not when he's even rationally explaining things and...shirtless and growly and stuff.

Um...if Rogue isn't having him tonight...do you mind if I borrow him for a bit. I swear I won't wear out his mutation...this time.

Surprisingly, I loved his ex. She is insightful and bold and not a bitchy bimbo. No wonder Rogue felt like second fiddle. Kind of. Still think she overreacted a smidgen.
