The fact that I have never reviewed this before is a crime - I know that I've read it before. (Even if the twist at the end surprised me still.) Usually I hate the use of the southern dialect (Ah) but for some reason it just dragged me right in there with her and the intensity steamrolls us right until the end. Which is shocking and brilliant and wonderful. Love this fic, and while I think Stray is a magnificent piece of writing as a whole, this has so much power and shock value ... not sure which I love more. *goes off to rec on adulthemes*

OMFG i luv this! seriously good piece of writing. It was a surprise twist on the standard 'Marie saves Logan', and really appealed to me. But it's the kind of take that is right up my alley lol! I really enjoy your writing, I'm working my way through your list and enjoying every one of them! So much so that I have to endure rude comments from hubby about staying up late to "finish just one more chapter" LOLOL! Keep up the good work, and thanks!

Very dark and twisted. Beautifully mastered into a piece worthy of greatness. The emotional surges you brought out were not only breathtakingly beautiful but heartbreaking and haunting. Fantastic piece.

This was beautifully done x each paragraph ended with a line that just draws you in further to keep reading. Fantastic concept taking this fic a lot further than ‘just a great sex scene’ and giving it a backbone with meanings and reasons. Loved all but one word of it [not too hard to guess which one but I’ll give you a clue it starts with c!!] great job well done x

Beautifully dark and twisted version of the tale...Rogue falling prey to not only HIS feral side, but her own too I think. Before her skin even reemerged, it was SHE that short circuited the doors, reset the codes and put herself in "harm's" way in the Wolverine's cell...oh yeah, I think it's more than just her skin taking HIM in...she has a feral side all her own!!
Author's Response: sorry it took so long to do this, but i wanted to say thanks for this review. i agree with you above, marie must have a bit of wildness in her to want logan the way she does. i just enjoy exploring that, since he's the one more usually seen as big and bad and animalistic... thanks again

You know what, call me sick, but I truly loved this. I don't even need it to be longer. Which is unusual, given how much I loved this. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you for it. DOn't ever hold back on that part of yourself. It is extremely beautiful. To the point of pain.

I loved this! Yes, it's dark but beautifully written and brings out Logan's feral side perfectly. Very original ending with Rogue falling prey to the animal side of his nature, but also very thought-provoking. Would love to read more!

First, I loved this. Some of the best, no-holds-barred sex you've ever written. But, you might have gotten the fairy tale wrong. I get that it's a twisted version of 'Beauty and the Beast', which is a perfect description of one of the best animated fairy tales of all time -- 'Shrek'.
