I must admit I had to re-read previous chapters to get into the story again. But don't worry I can't stay mad at you, after all you're writing one of the best fics ever!
Now, this is just my humble opinion but I wouldn't mind a bit if Marie could already somehow control her mutation here. I just think this story works great without the angst and frustration of the untouchable skin, but thats just me
Thanks for this one and please update soon! (I can't take another 15 days without an upadate!)

Such a pain in the ass. :~) But since it's unavoidable in this one, Im trying to rework it a bit Thank you a bajillion times, and I will try very hard to post the next chapter on time. >hugs<

But seriously. The only thing that could redeem you in my book is if you somehow get a mad spark of inspiration and blast out 3 more chapters this week. Because a story this damn good can't possibly be allowed to be put on hold for lengthy periods of time.

OMG.. Make me want to cut those bastards up myself why don't you? That is just awful what was done to Marie. Love Logan for is fear for her and his caring. Totally loved him cutting that guy up. And hmm... I noticed that we are finally seeing a little of Marie's mutation. I wonder if she is controlling it or if it is only just manifesting. I can't wait for more!!!

Thank you for the retribution violence and for the promised violence to come. It was a gorious (pun intended) beautiful mess. I am extremely oddly relieved to know what happened, sort of. Even though it was worse than what I had thought. The mutation pull is also relieving and extremely encouraging. I was slightly thrown by the description of a bottle cap ring in her foot. Did she step on the rim of a broken bottle trying to get away? Was it forcefully inserted?

"She submitted to him with a few tremors and a watering of eyes that couldn't imagine any more hurt, but couldn't hope for anything else." Heartbreaking. I simply loved this line.
"He wanted to bury his face in her neck, say "It's Okay" until his throat gave out." I think I had the same heart problems Logan is experiencing in this chapter when I read this line. This made something inside me hurt. I envy your ability to put sentences like this together.
As I said in that email, totally worth the wait. Except this time you delivered 186% percent (yeah, that's those numberz again....with a z, don't forget).
As for the naked Hugh holding a puppy & eating candy...well yes, yes that would be much appreciated. It'll go in the "MANimals" calendar. Which month though?

For this review, and your beautiful skill with numberz, I'll put fifty stamps on his package and make sure you get it by tomorrow. Don't forget to check your mail box. Brilliantly done chapter..love how Logan thinks he’s fighting “it” every step of the way, is perfectly happy with his justifications while doing so, but he’s already deeply involved. As for the end..you can’t keep doing this to me..to quote Eric Northman (TrueBlood/SVM) “you’re killing me.” Now, I expect (all right, hope-pretty, pretty please :)) tons and tons of Rogan goodness including caring, tenderness, love, friendship, safety, romance, and when it’s the right time, physical affection and intimacy between these two..I can’t think of a Rogue who needs it more. Thanks for the update.

Wow. I think that gave more depth to the story. I am borderline obsessed with the amount of great detail you put into this. It's amazing. When I read each chapter, I can literally play it out before my eyes. I can't wait to see what Logan's reaction is.
ps. (I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets a big case of the grins at the thought of Jean's lungs being violated with lots and lots of H20. :DDDDD )

I have to agree with Wanderlust's description of what updates for this story are like. Except I'm gonna go ahead & say that it's more like crack. Now I've never dabbled in illegal substances, but I'm thinking this is the classic 'withdrawing-in-between-hits' scenario. So my shaking, twitching, & general mood inconsistencies come Wednesday afternoon can be on your conscience now.
For what it's worth this is my fave chapter though (so maybe withdrawal will take a little longer to settle in?). I find that I have to step away from your story after an update so I can really think about the review I want to give & hope that it conveys just how much I love this.
"If she wanted to eat, she was going to sit her ass inside and talk to him. Like he was normal. Like he was capable of doing a good thing. Like he was someone anybody would thank, for a service other than sex or violence." Oh I loved this! I really, really loved this! It says it all & perfectly captures your Logan & their odd little arrangement here. This is why your Logan is my all time favorite :D
The last part was terribly heartbreaking. As in I genuinely, physically ached while reading it. I cannot wait until your next update (seriously, did I mention the withdrawal symptoms?). Do you *really* need a job anyway? Friends? Family? A life? Psssssh.

Sigh. You know what reading your updates is like? It's like going to an amazing restaurant, ordering your meal, waiting waiting waiting for it to come... and then gobbling it all up in just a few minutes. And being even more hungry when you finish!
This is all to say, you are a very effective writer and a champion storyteller. And if you don't keep updating, I just may starve.

Waaaah!!!! Cliffhanger!!!! I want to know what he did to that bastard that calls himself "Marie's father". I want to know how he saved her (because he DID). I want to know how did he find out that she is a mutant. And I want to know NOW!!
p.s: I also want Jean to suffer. Not that you are obligated to even include her in this story. I just want her to suffer on general basis.
