Why does it not surprise me that Jean has no professional ethics? I do think Rogue and Scott would make great friends, just how is Logan going to handle this, and what the heck is Jean gonna do to screw this up for the 3? Its better than a daytime soap.

This story has me pulled in so many directions. I want Scott and Rogue to live happily ever after. I want Logan and Rogue to live happily ever after. I want Jean to end up fused to a dungeon floor and covered in melted chocolate and fire ants and to live there forever and ever and me to be reading about it and happy ever after. Gah! Is there a way for Scott, Logan and Rogue to wind up with everything they want and for Jean to be continuously tortured forever and ever? If so, please please please please....*gets on knees and begs*
Author's Response: I'm doing my best, I promise. If things aren't perfect in the end...well, they'll at least be good. I promise. Except for Jean. I like the fire ant idea. Probably won't use it, but I like it. Maybe mental fire ants...

I went from having to fan myself because it was so damn firey hot!!!!... to feeling unbelievably sad. Just the concept of Logan being 'a broken man', under any circumstances are enough to make me wanna cry.
Author's Response: I did debate that ending, but there was just something so poignant about it that I had to leave it in, even though it did kind of kill the mood.
