The detachment and going through the motions was heartbreaking to read but very 'real' – Please tell me Jean will get her comeuppance – she truly is a bitch and a half in this and everyone knows I hate her anyway but your just proving my point here. Maime her, kill her, slowly and very painfully at the end of shiny pointy claws.....Have Rogue watch, join in and smile....have Jean cry,beg and die painfully (sorry I got a bit sidetracked) anyway.....Great instalment now on with the next bit!

Author's Response: Rofl. I'll see what I can do; thanks. :~)

It's so well written but it's also painful to read because it's so real, and as a viewer from the outside we can see that Jean is manipulating Marie's pain. I know you can only write as fast as you can, but it's hard when the chapter ends on such a difficult note with the characters :( Either way, definitely another wonderfully written, intense, and interesting story! Please keep writing.

Author's Response: Omg. >hugs< Thank you, thats beautiful to hear. Im sorry about the angst-part two will be happier.

I spent this entire chapter wishing I could RIP JEAN'S THROAT OUT! Every word of this was like a knife twisting in my guts. I hate that Marie won't even start to give Logan the benefit of the doubt. I hate that Logan isn't equipped emotionally to find a way to reach her. I hate that Jean is manipulating them both for her own evil ends. But I LOVE THIS STORY!

So, I just now, after reading over the previous paragraph, had a thought. Is Megabitch using these twisted therapy sessions to convince Rogue that Logan hates her? If so, then I say, Logan, my good man, spirit your mate away to some lonely outpost--far away from the she-devil--and do your growly best to convince her otherwise! Then go back and gut the bitch! Or not. --Wendie

Author's Response: Oh, I think we all wish that. Thank you, and yes, you hit the nail on the bitch's head. Jean's such a fun bad guy, don't you agree? ;~)

Good lord I can't tell you how relieved I am that Logan didn't go through with it. When I first read that from Marie's perspective it made me a little sick.

There's so much desperation between these two, especially the scene in the beginning and you manage to convey that so well without actually saying that. Sigh, they need to communicate so badly. And Jean needs to be thrown off of the Blackbird.

Author's Response: Before I wrote the chapter, I was actually planning for him to. But, as it turns out Jean/Logan sex makes me sick too. Thank you for the feedback! Super muchas gracias.

God, I hate Jean. You're doing a great job here. I never knew I could hate Jean more than I do now.
This story is truly beautiful. The misunderstandings of miscommunication between Logan and Marie are beautifully written. Keep this up cause I'm loving it!

Author's Response: Aaaaghh!!! Thank you so much. >hugs< Im so glad you like it.

This is the first 'repeated conversation from the other perspective' that did not bore me, in fact it was exceptionally well done. I like that you kept the strands of conversation to a minimum, focused on the internal monologue from each character, and added a boost of fresh covnersation at the end to tie it all together. Outstanding chapter!

Author's Response: The first? That's incredible. I'm so glad you feel that way! Thank you thank you thank you! This review made me jump up and down-literally... I'm working hard on the second chapter, but it may be another half-week or more. (These chapters are much longer than Im used to).

The contrast between the opening and the main section was amazing. One minute you’re breaking my heart, (and it has to be brilliant writing to break my heart), the next minute I am grinning and as excited as Rogue is about Logan’s return.

My favourite part was written from Rogue’s POV, when Logan looked up at her in the window and grinned. Perfect!

I especially loved that you wrote the scenes from both POV’s – it was great to see their individual inner thoughts and interpretations.

Okay, so now you have me hooked...

Author's Response: So glad you liked it; I was worried more about this story than Heal Over. Super Madagascarmambo thanks!! Im happy you're hooked.

A whole pond full of rubber duckies and a case of Oreos to you, dear RoseSummer! I love seeing everything from both sides, even if those first two bits were enough to rip my guts out. If I get a vote--and I know the coin is your method of choice, but I'm going to tell you this anyway--I really, really want the happy ending. I get all tingly just thinking about how you will bring them back to each other, how they will eventually TALK and discover how they both really feel instead of assuming they each know what the other is thinking. But I am getting WAY ahead of you... I find myself in the 'be careful what you wish for' camp. I asked what else you had to offer and now I am, as I feared, addicted once again. --Wendie

Author's Response: Hmm...regular or double stuffed oreos? Lol. Thank you so much for your vote and this review. You are definately one of my favorite addicts.....Oh, and btw: I just noticed this morning the two updates I'd missed of your story. Can't wait to read.

Dear lord here I am chapter reading again!
Not an easy subject to write - loved the 2 x paras containing *would he* and all the unanswerable questions, and then the *he was supposed to* lines with all their sadness, anger & frustration in the acceptance of the truth.

Well thought out and understandable misunderstanding -
hers ‘And his touch makes me sick now because I know--I know--it's driven by a sense of duty’
and his ‘Marie blames him. She never looks him in the eye, and even when she does he can feel the betrayal in them.

I have to say I am more a fan of the beginning-middle-end (and preferably in that order!) but am looking forward to the rest of the build up that brings us to where you started and then to some sort of conclusion whichever you may choose & on that subject………Love a happy ending but love a good angsty one too (if believable) if I have one request it will be for not posting alternate endings - choose one or the other and stick with it x

Author's Response: Yes! Hell yes! YES YES YES!!! So happy to see your name on here again. Thank you. (>continues chanting yes while typing<)........With your "beginning-middle-end", you reminded me of a book I read a few months ago. It mentions that theme. I read it in a day, couldn't put it down. I think you'd like it--"The Thirteenth Tale". It's in my top ten of all time....Thanks for the advice. I dont mind alternate endings, but I didn't intend this one to include one.

Great chapter, story does very well so far; it works. The beginning is very sad, and it pained me to see the lack of communication between Logan and Marie; hope you'll make them work it out! As for the rest, I can't wait to read what will happen next!! Update soon?

Author's Response: Thanks so much; I really really appreciate it. Next update...no more than a week...I hope.

Love how you shifted from marie's pov to the third person to describe logan. And the sadness in the beginning... I cried. Perfectly executed. I was just telling my husband how lucky we have been not to have to go through the trial of a miscarriage. And i agree perfectly with marie. The child is a child, not a fetus. Especially to a mother. Its feeling it inside of you and hearing the heartbeat and nurturing it while waiting for that first breath that begins the bond between a mother and child. Cant wait to read more!

Author's Response: I hope you don't take this the wrong way--I'm so happy I could make you cry. Thank you!! :~)

Ouch. Having Miscarried four times I can understand where they both come from. The problem is they aren't talking to each other. Hope it gets resolved.

Author's Response: I'm so so sorry to hear that. I've never been pregnant (someday), so Im using my imagination/research for this. I hope you feel I handle the subject properly.

Hmm, I know you're still deciding, but can I vote for the happy ending? These two get enough thrown at them, they could use some warm fuzzies at the end of the day. Why yes, yes I am a little biased since I read this after crying my eyes out over the latest episode of my favorite show. So please with the happy?...and kittens...

I am still crazy jealous of your mastery of the English language and subsequently putting them fancy words all together right nicely. Everything either of them notices/describes is so very detailed, but still delicately subtle at the same time. Boggles my mind as to how you do that.

Favorite: "The light from the chandelier glints off his face. The green in Logan's eyes absorbs it, like a forest pine tree touched by the morning light. Nothing escapes those eyes. Reading me completely, even the fine print. They widen; his nostrils flex and I feel like I'm telling him secrets I didn't even know I had."

Author's Response: Hello again. I think it's bad luck not to respond to an awesome long review(my favorite kind), so I will again. Feel free to skip it. ;-) .....I'm happy for your vote, and I gotta say Im leaning toward happy ending. (Ssh. Dont tell.) Can't promise anything, though. Im, like, 70%. Im glad you enjoyed the chapter/my descriptions, and I hope you will continue to do so. Thanks.
