Nice ending to the tale!

or is this an ending? I've noted, just now, that it's still posted as "incomplete". You *could* end it satisfyingly right here if you're running out of juice ... but if you have further adventures for Logan & his girls, I certainly have no objection!

In fact, I would *love* some little one-shots of past and/or future action with this bunch. I really enjoyed the way you characterized Jubes & Kit-Kat in this story; it's unique!

I don't know a woman alive -- young or old -- who wouldn't benefit from some 'control' lessons from your Marie. God knows I would have -- should have -- but that's another story. And if she's ever gonna be romanced by her muscley feral, she's gonna have to ask and keep askin', 'cause it sure ain't in his nature, now is it? Good for her for knowing what she wants and good for him for being smart enough -- and in love enough -- to give it to her. I love how grown-up they both are, using their heads as well as their hearts (to say nothing of other parts) to make decisions about their future together. Then again, you're pathologically incapable of writing anything that isn't smart and honest in both plot and characterization, so I am not the least bit surprised this is all those things, too. --Wendie

I'm glad I could encourage you, and I think it was the perfect decision to have this little interlude before jumping into the smut headfirst. Very nice imagery in this chapter.

Tease! Tease!

I'd be put out if I wasn't so sure that you'd eventually deliver the goods. You're right though - this does feel necessary. While I like some good ol' fashioned Rogan smut like the next WRFAer, sometimes you've got to put it on the backburner until you get the characters' heads out of their asses.

I'm glad you followed your Marie-muse - she *did* have a point.

So.....uh....not to sound like a pervert or anything, but uh...can we get that smut now?

“You need time to heal, Marie, I get that,” he was saying, and I’ll wait until you’re ready, I’ll wait for you. I just can’t pretend that I’m not gonna fight fer you.”

Pure awesomeness as usual. Thanks for giving me exactly what I wanted and more.

Love how Rogue didn't immediately give in and how Logan understood she might be dealing with a lot.

I seriously love how Tony Stark is in this universe. Can I hope that the next series has the avengers in it with Rogue to boot? Just a suggestion. Would love Tony and Logan going after Rogue, ha! That would be a fight.

Tangents aside, I'm excited and saddened to read the final chapter.

I have loved every chapter of this story and will probably shed some tears along with many other's when it comes to an end. Badass Rogue and girls plus Logan at his most protective and sexy equals a mountain of awesome that I just can't describe. I love your voice. I love the way you get into your character's heads. Thank you for much for this story.

Wow, so worth the wait! I adore your writing style and the many aspects we see in regards to one scene. Beautifully brilliant, my dear!! Looking forward to the next installment and the next story from you.

My favorite part was the text message. I love that. I love this whole thing and I want to rail at the world that it is coming to an end. There have been precious few universes that I have loved as much as this niche you carved out. Thank you.

You're one of the authors I'm coming out of hiding for. I just had to peek out from my blanket mountain to give you cookies for this.

"...she really didn’t know whether she wanted to kiss that man or beat him to death with one of his own cigars." That's a hell of an anti-smoking campaign waiting to happen. I like this and I can't believe I haven't read a threat of death by cigar-beating before :p

"He had to much of a hold on her. And wasn’t that just the perfect fucking metaphor for their relationship?" Too True! But would we have it any other way? NOPE..okay, maybe with less of Logan & his head being up his assage

Cream of the Crop: " You’re balls-to-bones deeper in me than anything those fuckers from the government ever messed with. Deeper in me than adamantium, deeper than the fucking claws under my skin.”" This was just...yeah. It just *was*. I always love your witty dialogue, but this shows that you've got a firm grasp on the characters voices when shit gets real.

Have fun writing Rogan smexiness! Will be hibernating in blanket mountain - Logan-less :( - until then

Bet he makes it in 40 -- or less.

I can clearly see why this one was so hard to write. Putting those kinds of feelings into words is tough enough, but to do it in a way that makes us feel it right along with Logan and Marie -- and Tony, for that matter -- is a real gift. Bravo. -- Wendie

It's been a long strange trip, but I'm so glad I took it with you, and I'll be sad to see it end.

Another great chapter. I liked how you resolved the Daken issue. Loved how Marie was able to get through to Logan and how there was no way anything could make him hurt her. Awesome! Can't wait for the final chapters!

You slid right past 'exciting' straight to 'heart-stopping' on this one. And then you sort of wrote your own review with this line:

The sense that the rest of the world had ceased to exist one she couldn't push away.

This whole story has been like that -- so engrossing -- so real -- that coming to the end is always like waking from a dream I wish could just go on and on and on...

Can hardly wait to hear Logan's explanation. I've got a little bet going with myself...I'll let you know if won. --Wendie

I read this on my droid while waiting for a friend at disneyworld and I must admit you took me to another world while surrounded by images of mickey- so impressive. I really loved the enraged feral to tender moment btw logan and wolverine especially the neck part bc it felt intimate, well done.

"...like he was afraid the word would bite him" I liked this. Not sure why, but I just really did.

"Rocking her in the only arms that had ever been strong enough to hold her..." Ohhhhhh Emmmm Geeee. How spectacularly dead on is that sentence? Seriously. If that doesn't sum up Logan and Marie in any & all facets then I don't know what does.

My question in the last review was totally answered. This grasshopper has learned.

Also, was very glad to see the word "ragies" used. Awesome sauce :D

So Daken can play with peoples' hormones? So did Daken intentionally give Marie the case of the lusties a few chapters back to distract her & Logan? If he can do this, why wouldn't he have had Marie get a case of the ragies against Logan?

Oh who knows. Only you do & you keep us in suspense, madame.

Where were you when they were pissing all over the script of....er...I mean "writing" the script of X3? You could have shown them a thing or two...or seven.

Awesome chapter, thanks for the Callum/Logan face-off, always fun. My favorite line is, "“Just a little ball o’ Southern sunshine!” Tony cooed." Ha.

Looking forward to some Rogan lovin'.

Just a thought for a new story- but how about one right before Civil War with Rogue on the Avengers, engaged to Tony, hence the reason that Logan has to become an Avenger and get her back.... Just a thought.

I love how you put Tony in there.

Yes I get the feeking that Logan would not be at all happy about someoone implying he hurt his girls and I have to say Porn-Smurf still gives me a giggle.

You write kick-ass women like nobody I've ever read -- EVER. And I love kick-ass women. So that's Daken's secret -- he can call up hormonally-based emotions, like lust and rage. Neat trick. But Marie is so right -- 'It ain't mannerly'. I look forward to Rogan goodness, but not at the expense of chapters that are this much fun to read. Loved hearing from Tony again. You do such a good job of balancing the publicity hound (read: little boy in need of lots of attention) with the big-hearted hero that Pepper loves. Excellent. --Wendie

Yes! Loved Rogue kicking that jerk to the curb! I loved how she laughed at the pictures and Callum's accusations against Logan and Kitty too. Yeah, I don't think that's what kissing The Wolverine looks like either!!!

Oh, WOOOOW!!! HobbitsDIB, that was WONDERFUL!!!! I had SO hoped that Callum would fall flat on his face with that one, and he did! “If you think that’s what kissin’ the Wolverine looks like then you’re one innocent little Yankie!” Oh yes indeed. Marie is spot-on: she wasn't there in that relationship. It is absolutely and greatly wonderful how true and life-like this story is despite being a fully-grown tale of superheroes! Cheeeeeeers!!!

What do you mean, why am I showing you this?” he said. “It’s Logan. With Kitty.”

He didn’t mean it to, but he suspected that last sentence made him sound like a fourteen year old girl.

Ok, I love this. It's awesome that you didn't try say "he whined" or anything instead of he said. Because the following sentence drove his tone of voice into my head so perfectly that that is now the only way I hear Callum's voice when I read his dialogue.

I just have to say that I love all of your stories and I always do a little happy dance when I see that you have updated. And trust me, when you do a happy dance at a bus stop surrounded by people because you are checking for updates on your phone, you get some really crazy looks. Everyone thinks you're wacko. Anyway, long ramble short, please please please keep writing as you have been because reading your stories always brightens my day and brings a smile to my face. I'm sending you much love in hopes that it will help you write.
