Ugh, hi. Just finsihed rereading this completely awesome fic. Is there any chance that you might consider updating it soon? Please.
Author's Response: It's not a question of considering an update...it's about prying the words out of my muse's tightly clenched lips. I want very badly to update this, and there are parts of several versions of Chapter 4 scattered across my computer even as we speak, but I have yet to decide how best to proceed from where I left off at the end of Chapter 3. It will come to me, I promise. Hopefully, in the very near future. If it's any consolation, I had an epiphany the other day on how to finally end another story that has been in the works for over a year and a half. Perhaps inspiration for this story isn't far behind... --Wendie

Wow, poor Rogue. Am I right with the assumption that this red haired bitch gives Marie the 'memories' of being raped by Logan.
Still wonder why the Professor or Logan didn't kick her out already (or worse)? Or are her powers as the Phoenix already awakened?
Can't wait for more of this great story!

I won't confirm or deny anything at this point, but suffice it to say that you (and many other readers on this site) are exceptionally perceptive, which means it's pretty tough to stay one step ahead of all you smart people! Author's Response: Thanks for staying with me on this, Summer. Actually, I was thinking of that whirling dervish from the Bugs Bunny cartoons, not the actual animal. Good Heavens! I hope I haven't offended you or any other Tasmanian citizens with that 'assessment' of Bobby's technique, or lack thereof. It never occurred to me! *turns red, hides face in hands* As for the punishment phase of our little tale, well, let's just say, I'm trying to come up with something so horrible it will make even Logan flinch. I've run a few by him so far, but no matter how medieval I get, he just shakes his head and says, 'STILL too good for her.' Ah, well, back to the old drawing board... --Wendie

Blllleegggglllcchhhh...I found myself making this sound through almost every Jean-POV-paragraph. Not because of the writing, of course! She's just one supercalifragilistic hobag. I love the parts with Rogue. Its a very nice concept, what Jean did to her-can't wait to see her and Wolverine interract. Please don't rush it though, this is going great.

Author's Response: When it comes to nasty, we ain't even scratched the surface yet. This next chapter goes way, way darker than I've ever gone and it's going to be challenge to write and get right, if you know what I mean, so it may be next week before I'm happy with it. I cheated. I read this chapter on another site because I needed the fix while the gremlins were screwing around here. Hmm...let me read back the last part of that sentence & dissect the disfunction there.
Anyway, you make me hate Jean more than I thought was possible. Throwing her out of a plane is too nice. She's so seemingly perfect that even the splatter she'd make on the ground would be flawless. Comeuppance, I say!! Where's her comeuppance!!

But before we pop the top on that can of adamantium-flavored whoop-ass, we need to see just what havoc she wreaked to deserve her punishment...I'm hoping to post the next chapter by the middle of next week if not sooner.
