Great work. As with the chapters where Logan was bringing Marie out of all the horrible things she'd been through, this had a wonderful pace to it and a sense of time easily passing. I found it only natural that their relationship progress to one of a sexual nature and thought everything terribly sweet. Thank you so much for sharing this story. It was a pleasure to read.

Author's Response: Holy Rogan, Batman. However much you enjoyed this fic, I promise I felt the same way about this review. Thank you.

Such a sweet ending. Sob sob sob. Siiiigh... He is so gentle with her, so patient. I want my own Logan. Eh...And what is happening to Xavier is poetic justice. He made a pact with Devil. Did he really expected him (or them) to be honest?

Author's Response: I think we all want our own Logan. >wistful sigh< Lol. Thank you very much. :~) :~)

As much as he wanted her, it was never about sex, not really. It was about giving her back her womanhood, making her whole again--not letting what They did to her define her, or deprive her, forever. This was positively amazing, so sensitive, so honest--bringing the healing full circle. I love that we know what he said to her without you having to actually write the words, because everything he did, including buying those precious books, screamed how he felt loud and clear. Talk about more 'show' than 'tell'. Wow.

I'm also glad he put her well-being above his need to kill Xavier and let the universe mete out its own justice.

A few things really hit me:

"You wanna show me?" the woman purred.

"No." Logan said, stepping politely around her. Perhaps Marie and he would stop at Sonic on the way home. She liked their root beer floats.
His transformation is complete. Pure brilliance.

She stared at those texts as if trying to seize something too far away from her. A child who'd accidentally let go of a balloon and was desperately trying to grasp the string that's already blown out of reach. I am simply in awe. No shit. Awe.

The descriptions of his 'discomfort'--the profound sacrifice that he never once thought was too great because it was for her. Amazing.

If I wasn't already in love with the feral brute, this story would have surely sealed the deal. And, at the risk of setting myself up for yet another addiction--What else ya got?

Or does that sound as though I'm just a greedy, ungrateful witch who only loves you for your outrageous writing talent and has no thought or care for your need to 'come down' after an intense experience such as this?

Oh, well, something tells me Stephen King's publisher didn't say, "Take a vacation. Get back to us whenever you can" after 'Carrie'(his first novel) hit the best seller list. And yes, in my opinion, you do belong in THAT kind of company... --Wendie

Author's Response: Ohmygodohmygodohmygod....I've been chanting that outloud at my computer for the past five minutes. Just...holy shit. Ohmygod. I don't even know how to thank you. I just can't think of anything. >hugs< ....I can't believe what you said about Stephen King. He's my favorite author; I've got almost every book he's ever written on my bookshelves. Thats....unbelievable to hear you say. Believe it or not, I actually made the outline for my next story Thursday. I'll start on it tomorrow.

Wow. Once again I don't have words that match how well you've written this. I don't think this could've ended any better - it truly fit & was perfect. Perfectly sweet, perfectly tender, perfectly complete. If I tried to list all of my favorite parts from this I'd end up just pasting the entire chapter, but I have to say the hot chocolate for dinner part is at the top of the list. Better than the kittens.

I really enjoyed this entire story and I absolutely cannot wait for whatever you come up with next (after a well deserved break of course. *throws confetti for you*). It doesn't seem like it was easy to write, but thank you for sharing it with us!

Author's Response: Oh jesus. Thank you!!!!.....And I did mention kittens, actually. Just for you. ;~) >hugs< I've got my next fic lined up; I'll probably start on it tomorrow.
