Its rare that a futuristic,much less space themed fic or tv show can keep my interest but this is one well written and engaging plot.

I gotta say, its a bit weird reading about Logan and Marie in the future, very Cowboy Bebop meets Outlaw Star (at least how I'm imagining it)... but I have to say I like it!! Keep writing, I'm intrigued to see how their relationship develops and I'd like to know more about other Marie/Rogue's death.
I'll keep reading!

I really like the premise of this story, but I feel like I missed something here. Why is Victor hanging around Marie & why isn't Logan more concerned about that? In fics there are all kinds of variations how Logan & Victor get along and I'm confused as to what their back story is. I'm looking forward to finding out how this Marie is different than the one Logan knew before though.

I like it. I hadn't read the first chapter so I got to read the first two together. I had suspicisions that Victor was Victor. That was cool. I can't believe you are going to wrap it all up in one more chapter though.

At first, I thought Victor was just plain cold to be able to up and walk away from someone he claimed to love, but maybe his leaving her proves that he really does love her, that he wants her to be happy and that means giving her back to Logan. How sad, in a way, that Vicky has come to care for her, knowing that one day 'the puppy' would roll back into town and his job as her caretaker would be done.
And for all her hollering and throwing of wrenches--big ouch!--that last line shows that this new Marie is still his Marie. I can't wait to read how he explains everything to her. Thanks for not forgetting about this story. --Wendie

Very interesting. I've come across fics where Logan loses Marie, but a "reunion" or sorts? On Mars no less? Nope, not until this so I'm really excited to see where you take it :)
