I thought this was very well done, including the smut. Logan is all screwed up, obviously, and his level of screwed up is not something that resolves itself magically in one or two chapters. I like that you're having Marie be the grownup in this situation.

You did OK with the smut, but you're quickly on your way to losing me as a reader. Logan has been a total jerk, a real ass at times, but never has he been this dishonorable or weak or confused, particularly with regard to his sex life. And for Rogue, after all she's been through up to now, to let him fuck her--again!--while in some stupor where he calls her 'Jeannie'--what's up with that? I thought she was past all that. Please wake these two up and let them smell the effin' coffee! -- Wendie

Author's Response: I regret that I'm not able to hold your attention. However, this is simply the way that Logan is in this story. We all see Logan in different ways and for the sake of this story, he has to be this way. He is confused and messed up in many ways. Also, in my opinion Logan's sexlife is something we interpreter from various stories we read (remember, this is movieverse) and in this story, sex is not just sex for him but also about comfort and the feeling to belong somewhere. Mainly, with Rogue. Rogue is not weak to me but dealing with things differently from Logan. She uses the sex with him as a way to reconnect with him. Some things will be explained in the next chapter, like his murmering and what happened at the mission. Hopefully, that will clear this up! Sophie

Only I hate the fact that Jean is still haunting them... especially Logan. He needs to move on. And it breaks my heart that Marie is being used and isn't taking action to stop it.
