Can I just say that I'm really loving this story. It's so wonderfuly original and unpredictable! Bravo. I love that Marie is heartbroken at being used and takenadvantage of and discarded by Logan, but strong enough to do what she has to do to get by. Nicely played.
Also - I love the song you mentioned at the beginning of this chapter. Fallen is one of my favs. Good choice on your part. It really fits into the mood of this story and especially this chapter.
Update soon. I'm addicted. More please.

Another great chapter. I like that Logan appears to be making 'baby steps' toward treating Marie better; he made breakfast and cleaned up, but didn't stick around to actually face her. I suspect that the next time they are face to face Marie's backbone will be more than evident. Being pregnant tends to refocus your priorities considerably. Baby = first...Big Jerk = last. Can't wait for more. --Wendie
Author's Response: Thanks for your second review! I'm planning a confrontation in the next chapter so she'll need her backbone! I'm not sure how I want to write Marie. I want her to have a spine and stand up to Logan but I also want her to put Logan's happiness first and not be affected by the choices he makes. I don't want her to be a dramaqueen who breaks down when things don't go the way she wants to. In this story, she's strong in her own unique way. And you're right. Baby first, big idiot later!
