Personally, I think he'll add a welcome element to the 'triangle' of Bobby/Logan/Rogue, and you've nailed his ego perfectly, but he tends to refer to himself in the third person quite a bit.
For example, 'Whatever you say Cheri. But I know what I want.' is what he would say, but not the way he would say it.

'Whatever you say, chere. (this is the Cajun version of the French 'cheri'--Remy is more Cajun than French) But Remy know what he want.'
