Outstanding! I love how it was her telling him her name that made all the difference. She wasn't just telling him her name, she was giving him herself--all of it, everything she was--and thank goodness he was man enough NOT to take it, not like that. And, of course, any time he knocks Jean down a few pegs is a sweet treat to read, too. I hope he makes amends with Rogue. I think he'll regret it if he doesn't at least try. --Wendie
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Haha, I was starting to wonder myself if I was going to be able to break this version of Logan I've created. With every plot point, it's like he has two choices: redeem himself, or reach a whole new level of bastard-ness. Up until now, he's chosen the latter every time. Have I finally suceeded? :)

I love the happily ever after endings and I knew going in that if you followed this story to its predestined end, we weren't going to get one. I lived with it because I love the way you put stories together. I thought for a moment on the couch you might be deviating from the formula of this story inspiration and we might bet the happy ending I would love to see, but then it all went bad, the bedroom scene was again like walking a tight rope and almost falling off. Of course then you have to give us a true character test for Logan and put him in the kitchen with Jean. I adore the idea she might be 'different' that something might be 'up' with her and that Logan will have to face it to get away himself. I am still hoping for the happy ending but I know how the inspirations for this story end so I am not holding my breath, but please please could you, would you consider it???? :)
Author's Response: Holy crap, thanks for the great review! I certainly had you at the sofa scene, huh? I'm sure Logan thought he was going to get his happy ending too, haha. Why, oh why is it so much fun to torture poor Wolvie? About him finally noticing the change in Jean, yeah it certainly took him long enough. Hee-hee...I already know how how the story ends, but you know I'll never tell, no matter how sweetly I'm asked :) Because what fun would that be? No character death, though, that I will promise. Author's Response: Haha, if you felt it was torture to read, imagine how it was to write? And yeah, Logan finally found his balls where Jean is concerned. The next chappie will be up as soon as I catch up on some much needed rest. Don't get too excited, though 'cause it's a really (I mean REALLY) short one. Thanks for the review!

You portrayed the change in Logan brilliantly as he finds his conscience and...dare I say it...maybe starts to fall in love? And I’m so glad he rejected Jean because I can’t help but dislike her in this story (poor Jeannie, she does get a rough ride on this website!!) . Great update, nice and long. x
Author's Response: Whew, I wasn't sure at first how I was gonna nail this one, but it ended up being one of those rare scenes that came out EXACTLY as I imagined it. And yeah, it's a long one, which is why it took me forEVER to write. I wanted to give an uninterrupted, real-time feel to the stuff happening here, because it's so important for the characters' development. ;) Thanks for the review!
