Amazingly powerful stuff--the Wolverine's feelings about 'the cub', his instincts as a 'good sire'. I'm glad they--Marie in particular--figured out that Charlie wasn't the only thing holding them together. Now, about 'another cub'... --Wendie

i'm glad they reconciled and more importantly that Rogue realized what she'd done when she abandoned both Logan and the Wolverine and how deep the pain really ran.
i really like the way you gave Wolverine his own voice in this. they way he thought about killing Charlie just like an feral animal would to weed out the week and end its pain...but then his feelings for Rogue overrode that and Wolverine stopped thinking of Charlie as an IT, a cub, but a child...justs terrific!
is this the last chapter for real?
Author's Response: Yeah, there will be an epilogue though :) I think I've given them enough grief so expect another happy chapter/epilogue to follow :)
