Not that this wasn't hot--'cause my chair just burst into flames--but somewhere in all this Victor-the-Great stuff, I've lost the thread of the Wolverine/Rogue story. How, if at all, is Victor giving Rogue 'the little piece of heaven' going to affect Logan and her relationship with him? This seems to have taken on a life of its own and gone from Rogue setting out to get drunk and get laid to her and Victor discovering a 'connection' that almost has this looking like she's meant to be with Victor instead of Logan, which would make me, for one, very sad. --Wendie

Author's Response: I completely understand what you're saying, and I agree. But believe me, with where I wanna take this, there really isn't any other way I could start this story out without such a heavy emphasis on Marie and Victor to have the right effect I want the end to have. It's a work in progress. and this was the first lengthy story I have attempted to write. I am just starting out with this one and I could very well wrap it up in the next 3 chapters but I really don't want to. So I have to draw it out as much as possible. Don't forget the title of the story *wink*.

ooohhh, wouldn't that be a kicker and if she and Vic wound up together. well, since Logan has been a complete asshat in this story, she should be with Victor if he's going to keep being this surprisingly awesome.
