Author's Response: Thank you! This was a lot of fun to write, precisely because I love that song. It was the first song by Chris Young that I ever heard and soon after I picked my chin up off the floor -- "OMG! Who was THAT???" -- and looked it up on iTunes to find that amazing hunk of man that sings it, I had the idea that it would make the perfect framework for a smexy Rogan fan fic. I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know you liked the story. And it is always great to find fellow Chris Young fans! Wow that was one hot story but the bit I thought was so sweet was 'I marring the real you' something people seem to forget when they get caught up in wedding fever as always it was brilliant
Author's Response: Hey, Summer, thanks so much for reviewing this. I'm glad it ranked up there on the 'hot' meter. I thought it was pretty sexy, but I always wonder if I'm fanning the flames for anybody else or not. I liked that whole little flashback to the tux fitting, too. Since the story opened with them already married, it was a way to throw in some details about the wedding that would have otherwise been left unsaid. Thanks again. --Wendie

Yowza, that was hot! I'd never heard the song, but I youtubed it and now I am certainly a fan! I've never thought of stair sex being particularly comfortable (ever see A History of Violence? Sexy, but painful) now, but with the right guy...Good job!

I consider you one of the great smut writers of the fan fiction world--hell, you're a great writer, but smut seems to be a true strong suit with you. 'Better Than Pie' was the first story I ever read on this site, and boy, did it set the tone! Yes, I have seen 'A History of Violence' and it was hot, but looked very uncomfortable. At least the mansion's stairs are carpeted! Again, thanks for letting me know you enjoyed this. --Wendie

Author's Response: Thanks a lot, New Moon! I'm so glad I'm not the only person on this site who loves that song. The minute I heard the line 'Seein' your black dress hit the floor' in that sexy baritone Chris Young has, I was a goner! I downloaded the song onto my iPod within seconds and I've probably listened to it more than any other song I have. I immediately pictured Logan in a tux coming through the mansion's front door and Marie in a long black dress...it was just a matter of writing it all down. I'm really glad you loved the story. --Wendie
