I agree with everyone else's comments. This story has been dark and sensual, but somewhere along the line they started to feel for each other. It's inevitable. There is something amazingly compatible between those two: his inner beast, her being 'poison'. But, their never-ending sense of loyalty and honor - isn't that what makes us love Rogan pairings so much? At the end of it all, it’s Wolverine and Rogue, and then the rest of them. Good job, keep going!
Author's Response: thanks! their compatibility was something i couldn't get away from, that if two people like this existed in real life they would both be tortured sods with screwed up outlooks on life, only Wolverine might be more mature about the struggle Rogue is going through, having been there himself and still fighting it every day.
rnrnnow i just need to figure out where the heck to go from here LOL!

WOW! that took my breath away. I think it was refreshing to have some real emotional issues after everything else. I look forward to see their dynamic change in the next chapters. Really beautiful story as always!
Author's Response: thanks! i was so unsure about this new tone to their relationship, but they pulled me inextricably to something more genuine and less brutal than before. i like it, but have to admit i am soooo stumped right now where they will go from here. I was enjoying the evilness, so now I have to figure out how to keep that hard edge going even though they're changing.rn

Their first real kiss...maybe they will eventually both win at this game. Loved this chapter, even though you said all this patience and gentleness won't last forever. It's sort of like a moment of comic relief in a really suspenseful movie; you have to have that now and then to break the tension, in order to be able to build it back up again, 'cause its the up-and-down, up-and-down, that makes the roller coaster ride so much fun. -- Wendie

I love your Rogue, so out of control and dangerous! It was clear (and very cleverly done) that she had Logan pumping through her veins in the DR scene. And speaking of which, the whole DR scene was amazingly well written – very entertaining. I’m eagerly awaiting more…
Author's Response: thanks! i've never written a lot of action before and struggled with it, trying to keep from saying "he hit, she it, it hit, they hit, etc." glad the inner Wolverine was clear without being smack in the face obvious!

Author's Response: hey wendie, thank for the feedback. yes, she's getting hooked on draining powers b/c her hits of Wolverine are a combination of sexual lust and mutation intoxication. who wouldn't find that addictive?! c'mon the man is fiiiiiiiiine and his powers are luscious! and it's all fueled by her own rage at her cruel mutation and how she can only hurt those she touches. who wouldn't wind up twisted with a power like that? someone had to intervene in the DR sim (Cuyke naturally) or my dark plot bunny was going to make her kill someone. despite how dark and cruel Rogue is in this story i couldn't let her do that. wolverine's reaction-and more smexiness-to come in the next chapter in a few days.

I totally agree I'm dying for the next chapter of that one. :) But I'm loving this one as well. I can't wait to see what reactions everyone has once they realize how much Logan is in Rogue, or if they even realize that Logan HAS been in Rogue.
Author's Response: i know, i know i need to finish TOOWC! but for some reason i love it so much i'm being a complete wuss about "finishing" it with some sex. maybe i won't end it there and will just let it unwind some more, like this one. i originally meant for this one to be just 4 chapters, but the characters wouldn't leave me alone and demanded more! and good catch on no one knowing yet that Logan has been drained by the Rogue (in several ways LOL!). i've got a couple of ideas for that reveal, haven't decided on which one yet. next chapter should be a biggie though! glad you like it!

I don't know if you've heard the singer 'Poe', but she has a song that reminds me of this series, called 'Wild'. I just heard it on Saturday and it made me think of you. ;) You'll have to check it out.

Author's Response: y'know often i find myself more into the stories where she has control for all that lovely skin-to-skin contact, but for some reason the idea of not letting her have that ability fit well with this story, which centers around pain and anger. i am seriously rethinking my previous opinion that the silk-scarf stories aren't as hot as the bare skin ones. the clothed stories lend so much kink LOL!

this story is a little like a train wreck; I know I should look away, but I just can't.
Without a doubt, this is one of the most delicious guilty pleasures I've ever read. Generally, I don't like my Rogan this dark, but when it's this well-written, it does have an enormous appeal. Mmm! Mmm! Good!

Author's Response: LOL@peace. yeh, there's no peace in this for either of them! thank you for complimenting my writing style, that means a lot, not just that you liked the storyline. this story's designed to push the envelope of what we often see on this site. i just really wanted to do something different from a lot of the amazing stories i've read here b/c it allows me to try what i hope are original ideas that haven't been explored much before. i hope to have a somewhat less hateful ending for these two, but it all depends on where my dark plot bunny muse takes me.
