Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, I do have to admit it was fun to take advantage of the animosity between Scott and Logan and to have Scott getting the worst of it. I mean, Logan is the hero of this little tale, right? So he had to be bigger and badder than Cyke-o-geek. Author's Response: Thanks, Summer. Yeah, I had to bring her back to being 'his Marie' and not some female version of the him that lives in her head. Her visions of his sexual past and his finally confessing what she really meant to him were enough to get her over the initial shyness of being a virgin, but fantasies and reality are two different things. Once the reality caught up to her, she was a bit overwhelmed. I doubt she's the first rookie that's happened to...and, of course, for him to acknowledge that her innocence was just as attractive as her boldness was pretty great, too.
