I guess I'm not the only one who noticed Scott's grin in the first movie when Logan gives him the claw. The more you write of this the more I like it.
Author's Response: As Logan said to Scott, 'Right back at ya'. I'm digging your Finding a Way series more and more also. I'm really glad you like this and one of my favorite scenes so far in any X movie is still the one in the Liberty Island Museum when Logan calls Scott a d*ck to prove he's the real Logan and not Mystique in disguise.-- Wendie

That line is priceless! Definitely one of my new favorite all times lines from a story. This story has been great, compelling with just enough conflict and angst to keep it moving. Great job!
Author's Response: I am SOOOO glad somebody mentioned that line in particular. I don't often crack myself up when I'm writing, but I have to confess to chuckling over that one several times. Sometimes I wonder where such thoughts come from, but I refuse to look a gift muse in the mouth. I'll take them any way I can get them. I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. Chapter 6 should be up in a few days. Here's hoping it's just as entertaining.--Wendie

Author's Response: Well, to be fair, the professor did say 'by any means necessary.' It occurred to me after I wrote this that there must be some sort of code among telepaths about not poking around in someone's head uninvited, or else no one thoughts would safe from 'inquiring minds'. Jean used the professor's words to justify the unauthorized 'poking', at first, but then I think she was just enjoying pissing him off. Great job. I love it when Scott and Logan antagonize each other. Jean's not my favorite but I kind of get her in this chapter. Hopefully she really does want what's best for Rogue. Here's looking forward to the next installment!
Author's Response: I really appreciate all of your reviews. I love it that you are specific about what you like and don't like. Yeah, Jean really does want what's best for Rogue, which, of course, is Logan. But I think Jean wishes they would wait a while longer before taking their relationship to the next level, even though she knows they probably won't. I mean, somehow I can't see the Wolverine and the Rogue denying their baser instincts once they get a chance to experience them, do you? Hopefully, Chapter 6 will be done in a day or two.
