Oh, very nice. I love the play between the groups. I also found it curious about female alphas. Let's hope wolfsbane doesn't decide to go into heat. That'd be a kicker right in the middle of a stakeout.

Glad to see your back with another dose of Kick Ass!Rogue. I like how you're balancing out all of these new mutants too. It's doesn't feel like it's too much, which is very nice.
Only thing, I don't want to be snarky, but the overuse of the word "slowly" was kind of distracting. Maybe it would help if you took a break in between writing & editing/posting. I find that I run into the same type of problem when I write. Sometimes a word just wants to set up camp in your brain.
