The Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive
Barely Legal Since 2000
I don't know if you receive comments or messages any more, but I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your story, and how talented you are! What's even more amazing is that you wrote this when you were 17.
I love your Rogue voice, and the way you allowed the story of Rogue's coming of age and relationship with Logan unfold in such a real and believable way. I also liked the way you portrayed Rogue's inner struggle with her powers and the people she absorbed. The way you showed the country's debate over the MRA and hatred/fear of mutants was very realistic.
I really liked the ending, and how it leaves us open to a real possibility of a positive future for Logan and Rogue....but I admit I would have really loved to see an epilogue! :)
Awesome story--thank you for all your hard work!
Sinatra-I Got The world On a String
Expert Choice- it was the song i never would of thought of and the song that made perfect sense for her to play
As I'm sure your aware I'm a fan of your earlier work but I'm a big fan of your current work too- like The Dark Side of the Moon.... hint hint....get going sparky!!!
Author's Response: Haha! No worries, I'm on it! I'm actually backtracking, though. Before finishing "Great Gig in the Sky," I want to fill in that three-week gap between "Money" and "Breathe" with "Any Color You Like" (four chapters). Logan and Rogue. In a cabin. It demands to be written!
If you could see me, you'd know I was giving you a standing ovation.
Loved the pacing, loved the non-theatrics o the developing relationship between Rogue and Logan, the character development and insights of mutants I love like Kurt.
Very clever use of the song titles, btw.
Author's Response: If you could see me, you'd know I was grinning happily. Like this -> :D only bigger.rnrnKurt is my favorite X2 character. X3 totally pulled a Pirates 2, except instead of not letting two black women star in a film (what the hell happened to Annamarie??), they must've thought three blue people in one movie was just too subversive. ;)
I think I was reading this last night as fast as you were posting it. Great job!
Author's Response: Ha! Talk about instant gratification. :D Thanks for reading.
