Awesome update... well worth the wait while you defended yourself against evil Hawk people. I love Rogue's internal dialogue. It sounds quite natural, you've made her sound like a real person (ex. thoughts that end with nothing, run on thoughts, making fun of herself in her mind. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who does that). I have to admit, I'm looking forward to Logan's return (or Remy's entrance). Part of me wants Rogue to bolt before he gets there just so I can laugh at Logan. Anyway, good work, hope you get to write more soon!

I just read this whole story at once -- what a trip! From the Thelma and Louise crime spree with Mystique to the disappointment she has to face from Logan (who, let's face it, needs to get down off his high horse...dare I say Scott's moral-streak has rubbed off on the old boy? heh)
Most of all, I love the intimate perspective we get from Rogue. Her sarcasm is hilarious and her uncertainty is really endearing.
Add me to the list of people who can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thank you *g*. Really glad you're enjoying it. And yep, Logan's definitely got to get down off of something. He's a stubborn one in this fic alright - you have no idea! Sometimes I want to hit him with something, or have a piano drop on his head, just to get my revenge!
