I LOVE this chapter. We all know Rogue didn't ACTUALLY take the Cure (and I wish that had chosen that ending in the movie, instead of just making it a deleted scene. XP That choice was crap.) and your explanation of it is fabulous. I loved her sudden realization of "What the hell am I doing? You leave that poor little boy alone!"
Even if we never find out if the little boy's mother and Pete take her advice and go to the Institute, I love this chapter. I know you said to review, well there you have it. Fantastic chapter, it immediately captured my interest. I love the ending. Her repeating Logan's words almost made me whimper with some confusing jumble of joy and sadness. XD And pride. Excellent work.

Wow. Great 1st chapter.
(I haven't seen X3 too many times either. I was very upset that Rogue didn't have a bigger storyline and i was super pissed when she revealed that she took the cure. The main reason i bought the DVD was to see the alternate scene where she doesn't take the cure.)
