Oh Sharkbait, dear Sharkbait, where oh where are the other two stories? I know it's been ten years but if by some miracle you still get email alerts from this site at least you will know that reader No. 890--me--finally did what the other 889 fools couldn't manage. Either they were all so moved that they couldn't put their feelings about this story into words, or they were indeed idiots for not appreciating this heart-rending masterpiece. The pacing in this is pitch perfect, not a single misstep did I find.

I nearly hated you--let's face it, I DID hate you--there near the end when it looked like you'd brought him back only to kill him at the moment of his most profound happiness, but then he's back, at least to some degree, and you promise not just a sequel but a trilogy, so I am, naturally, greatly relieved. Only to check for the rest of the stories and find that you stopped at one. Who could blame you? This wonderful 6,000 word thing of beauty and not one review. Criminal! Positively criminal, I say! Well, I am here to beg you to drag out the computer disks or the notebooks or whatever might contain the other two stories and get them posted. Trust me, the crop of readers on this site these days will not let this languish unheralded and will clamor right alongside me for MORE! MORE! MORE!

Please, Sharkbait, please! --Wendie
