-shiver- Daaaaamn... That ending absolutly perfect, doing the exact same scene as the begining but completely reverseing the entire effect of it. Gave me goosebumps and a chill down my back. Damn, but this was good... even if it is a tragedy that Logan had to get his hair cut twice.. Still, such a great story though I think it's going to take me a bit longer to fall asleep tonight O___O

I remember reading this for some time ago. Read it again. Just had to. This is one of those stories that leave me feeling angsty, jittery, and at the same time hopeful. Good way to jumpstart my clogged up story vein.

I guess I'm a pessimist by nature, because first time I read this I cried, thinking she would have to go through the same hell over and over again. Then I started thinking what if that all had been only inside of her head. What if there had been no evil intentions and Logan had shaved his head really because he had gotten hot.

Uh... Don't really like the idea of a bald Logan... at least not if it's for the reason Marie imagined it to be.

This is one of the best fics I have read.

Author's Response: Ya know, I kind of don't like the bald Logan either, but...well, my Logan in my head is always Hugh Jackman and he doesn't look half bad with a buzz cut, so it wasn't too hard to think about! ;) And thanks for such a lovely review - it is very much appreciated.

Oooooooh!! You are evil!! I don't s'pose you'll fess up and tell us WHICH was the 'real world' here, would ya?? Nah, didn't think so. So the optimists get to think the straight type was heat induced halucinations and the italics were real; while the pessimists go with the straight type being real and the italics being drug induced halucinations. You are an evil author, xbedhead! But I'll let it slide only because your talent eclipses your evil-ness!!

Author's Response: First off, thank you for the wonderful review - I'm glad you enjoyed the story so much. As far as which world is real and which world isn't - it's all real, right up until the end. And THEN we find out that everything was taking place in her hallucination. The italicized parts actually happened and she was just remembering them in her dream. With the way that it ended, a lot of people took it like it was supposed to be sort of humorous, which I can completely see because that's the way it reads. I had meant it to read, however, like the whole 'dream' thing Marie was experiencing (which turns out to be the bulk of the entire story) was more like a premonition. She woke up in the real reality just as she had in the dream and got the same response. She knew what had happened in her mind and was afraid b/c she thought it would play out the same way. The way I have it written made a lot of people think she was screaming at the hair being gone. :P
