If I'd been reading your first paragraph out loud, I'd have died from lack of oxygen before I got to the end. As run-on sentences go, it may hold some sort of record for the longest one. HOWEVER, you recovered so beautifully after that that you are entirely forgiven. This was so sweet and lovely.
