i just wanted to say i loved this. so many fics use real darkness as a prop and don't explore its consequences but this does. it's not gratuitous though it still manages to be both honest and hopeful. i really enjoyed it.

The complexities of their feelings for each other magnified and twisted in the sheer horror of their captivity, and then dealing with the emotional damage in the aftermath is just masterful writing. Nothing rushed, nothing farfetched, nothing unbelievably out of character, not just for Logan and Marie, but also for the other X-Men here. Thank you for a beautiful story.

My God. Next time I read something like this, I'd better make sure that I am alone. You ripped my heart out with this, and yet there was no overdoing the tension, no sick wallowing in the gor details, simply the story of a horrible turmoil, and two people, getting over it with a great, heartbreaking effort. Incredibly well done.

This was great, I loved it!
Very original and the happy end was very believable. That was great writing, far too often people get to the end to fast and it gets cheesy.

Crap... you can't stop there! And now you've spoiled us with quick updates... I"m going to be so devastated if you don't do it again.
Very interesting twist... that they used Marie's own fantasies against her. And now Logan knows too... and oh my. But even if they do both care... and it's clear that they do, it's still gonna be so hard to get over that kind of mental abuse.
Can't wait to see where the plot runs away to!
