This is really enjoyable: your writing is very evocative and paced just beautifully. Excellent characterisation, too: it's unusual to see the characters being so true to the essence of Logan and Marie in an AU context. I'm interested to see what hurdles you throw at them next, as I have a suspicion it won't be all smooth sailing for them!

This is a very nice start to this fic. Everything is set up well. I like the idea of Logan already being a teacher. It's unfortunate Marie has to be bullied by the popular kids. They get on my nerves with acting like they're all that or better than everyone else. I can already see some chemistry between Logan and Marie. It's sweet when Logan tells Marie she can call him by his first name I just hope some idiot doesn't try to cause them trouble. Update soon.

Author's Response: haha indeed there will be smut. a little further along in the story though. it'd be a little awkward if they just jumped into bed with one another immediately
