She spluttered, and he could tell she didn’t know whether to take it as a compliment or a warning. He was only half-joking, concerned that some idiot would let lust win out over brains and try to take advantage of his absence later on. But he also wanted to let her know just how beautiful she was. The only bright spot in this dingy bar – hell, the only bright spot in his dingy LIFE.

but i am really hoping Wolverine and Colossus throw down in the cage in the next chapter. this is a great story.

um... i think we missed chapter 2 ... cos this is chapter 3, but so was the last one... and they're both the same.
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me know. Trust me to omit one of my favourite chapters. (OK, they're all my favourite chapters, but still...) I have now uploaded the PROPER chapter two for anyone who cares to visit again.
