I actually find myself liking Jean in this one...and NOT because you've given her the granddaddy of all headaches that I think she mostly deserves 99% of the rest of the time!
The count up of time passing is funny...I really liked that, her mental pictures of what's going on in the kitchen gives a great insight to help the rest of us 'see' what's going on. Very nice! (ct scurries off to read more)
