Excellent! I suppose, in the end, it doesn't matter whether Logan knows why he is staying, so long as he does. :)

Great story! Usually, it's difficult to portray Marie growing up and having Logan just accept it without it turning into a sexual relationship. It's almost as though he only sees her as a grown up once he realizes she's old enough to sleep with. I liked that it took him a while to see her as an adult, and even when he finally did, he was still conflicted with wanting to protect her -- a very interesting dynamic. Really, really great story. :)
