It sounds like the great Wolvering is just a tad flustered by what he's seen there in kitchen in the late night hours. Could it possibly be that he's realizing Rogue isn't a "kid" anymore?????

I really like this. There is so much intensity in it--and I like that. Plus, I like that they're a little withdrawn from each other, at least to this point.
And why don't men ever have to follow the same rules they set for women? I'm just wondering.

OMG, the UST is killing me in this chapter!!! The last few paragraphs of interaction between the two of them had me giggling like the silly Rogan fan-fiction addict that I am. Excellent!

That glimpse of a situation in the last sentence is VERY hot - and it's very unsettling to see how the two of them just don't get it in so many subtle ways in this chapter and the next.
