You know what I think about their issues? I think Sam is still working with a 'normal processor' if you will and Logan and Marie have gone through so much and what not that they operate differently then your average farmer. :) So they're having a hard time fitting together. Although, I'm slightly dissappointed in Marie that she would so clearly choose Logan over Sam. Because Sam is just reacting to Logan like Marie taught him growing up. Quite a little complicated family you got here. The Army is probably less danger to them then they are to themselves. And I would just like to point out that the camels aren't any more stubborn than Logan is. ^.~

Author's Response: Let's play dysfunctional families! Yippee! Oh... Crist. I have to calm down a bit. Yes. I think you are quite right. Marie and Logan have both lost quite some marbles along the way, but I have a feeling there's more in Sam that we have yet seen.
